Sure to be the butt of many jokes, America’s first toilet-themed restaurant has splashed onto the scene in Southern California. The Magic Restroom Café, where diners sit on toilet seats and eat out of toilet-shaped bowls, officially opens for business this Friday in the City of Industry. It features Taiwanese cuisine with "bathroom" titled dishes such as “smells like poop” (braised pork over rice). While this potty-mouth theme is popular in restaurants in China and Taiwan, it remains to be seen if it will be successful here in the USA. What do you think....will it be a hit or will it tank?

Really, is this how far we have descended for entertainment? It's not funny. Anyone can get a laugh with a dirty joke. It's degrading and depraved. How much further do we have to grovel in order to identify with what passes for culture today. Yes, I'm over sixty --actually over seventy, but I'd rather have grown up in my happier and simpler world of yesterday than today's. (And I do have a great sense of humor. This is not humor.)
