For five weekends in November and December, visitors can step back in time to Victorian London and experience a one-of-a-kind event – the Great Dickens Christmas Fair & Victorian Holiday Party. It’s all happening at the Cow Palace in Daly City where over 3 acres will be transformed into a remarkably authentic Dickens Village, circa 1865.

Guests make their way down the winding lanes and alleys, brought to life by actors dressed in colorful period costume from the pages of both history and literature. The streets are dotted with pubs, tearooms and music halls, along with Victorian-era shops selling a variety of hand-made items.  There’s food-a-plenty, including traditional holiday fare such as roast beef, Yorkshire pudding and warm cider. Daily Christmas parades snake through the crowds and visits from Father Christmas will thrill the little ones. Now in its 35th year, the Great Dickens Christmas Fair is the perfect way to welcome the holiday season.
