Gourd Art by Daniel Montano
The 14th Annual Gourd Art Festival takes place this weekend at the Welburn Gourd Farm in Fallbrook, north of San Diego. The event features more than 40 gourd art exhibitors, interactive gourd crafting, demonstrations, live entertainment, food and a Wine Garden. Visitors will also have a chance to vote for their favorite artwork, when gourd artisans from across the country compete for prizes in one of two gourd art competitions. Festival hours are 9am to 5pm on Saturday, June 26 and 9am to 4pm on Sunday, June 27. Tickets are $11 at the door; $8 advance purchase. Parking is $3.
