X-citement. X-hilaration. Adventure on the water. X-plore Offshore, San Diego’s original ocean rafting outfitters, offers thrill-boat enthusiasts one-of-a-kind boat excursions on San Diego’s coastal waters and bays. If you’re looking for a mundane cruise following a set-in-stone itinerary, look elsewhere. X-plore Offshore amps it up with its 12 passenger Navy Seal-style boat, capable of speeds up to 45 mph that moves in sync with the interest of its guests. You can rip through waves at top speed or enjoy a peaceful, romantic sunset cruise. Slither into coves that bigger boats can’t creep into and view hidden ocean wildlife. Go bay hopping, snorkeling, whale watching or night diving. Cruise to a bayside restaurant for appetizers or enjoy specially prepared meals onboard. X-plore Offshore is versatility on water.

There are two boats in X-plore Offshore's fleet. As mentioned, the custom-built RIB (rigid inflatable boat) is patterned after the rugged RIB’s used by the U.S. Navy Seals. This is the boat to ride. Built for speed and comfort, it has a galley, heated fresh-water shower and private restroom. There’s even an underwater camera for sea life viewing. X-Plore Offshore’s second boat is a fiberglass vee-hull Boston Whaler Outrage which holds up to six passengers. Both boats are built for safety and enjoyment and employ Coast Guard-certified staff.
X-plore Offshore has several adventure packages to choose from. Tours lasting 3 to 5 hours cost $49 to $99 per person. 1 to 2 day trips to Catalina cost $199 to $299 per person per day. Custom itineraries can be arranged and both boats are available for private charter. For additional information on X-Plore Offshore, click here or call the boat's captain, Russell Moore at 858-456-1636.

This sounds like such fun! Next time I'm out west, I'll have too look into a trip. I love speed and this looks like a blast. X-Ploring Offshore sounds great.
ReplyDeleteSounds like it would be so much fun. We've done the Rogue River jet boat thing a couple of times and absolutely loved it! Great X.
ReplyDeleteFun xploration!
ReplyDeleteLooking at that boat, I can't for the life of me imagine where the toilet is supposed to be! It's tiny!
ReplyDeleteVery tempting! I wish I could do such a x-ploration! Thanks for the visit. Yes Xavier Rudd sounds very different when he sings ballads.
ReplyDeletein new zealand, they call it xtreme sports. Having recently watched a shark movie, I would have to be xtremely brave to go on this. The teeth can pierce the rubber boat.
ReplyDeletewonderful take on the theme!
ReplyDeleteThat's something I could really consider! I'd love a couple of days at Catalina. Actually, I'd love a couple of days of sunshine right now. If you're near San Diego, you'll know what I am talking about
ReplyDeleteBeautiful post... my daughter lived in S.D. and has a YouTube of her and her husband in a tiny boat with dolphins swimming next to them.
ReplyDeleteBTW ~ You mentioned the walls in the radiation room being painted a nice color.... actually you are in the machine... and don't see anything.
All that exciting water and so close to home, too. Sounds like a great July 4th excursion.
ReplyDeleteThat's nothing for me ! I just can swim like an old grandma !
