Monday, Sep. 13 Orange County: Canstruction
Visit South Coast Plaza and see giant structures made entirely out of canned foods. Bring a canned food item to the concierge and ride the carousel for free. All canned food will be donated to the OC Food Bank at the end of the exhibition. Sep. 4-26.
Tuesday, Sep 14 San Francisco: Fringe Festival
The 19th Annual San Francisco Fringe Festival showcases the best of national and international experimental theatre. Performances are rare, raw, raucous and remarkable. Over 250 performances play at the EXIT theater complex and other venues downtown. Runs through Sep. 19.

Thursday, Sep. 16 Stockton: Barnum’s FUNundrum
The Greatest Show on Earth returns to the Stockton Arena when Ringling Bros. & Barnum & Bailey Circus presents Barnum’s FUNundrum. It’s a super-sized spectacle so massive you just can’t miss it. Sep. 16-19.
Friday, Sep. 17 Monterey: Monterey Jazz Festival
More than 500 top jazz artists perform on 8 stages throughout the weekend in the longest running jazz festival in the world. Now in its 53rd year, the festival is held annually on the 20-acre, oak-studded Monterey Fairgrounds. Sep. 17-19.
Saturday, Sep. 18 San Diego: ArtWalk on the Bay
Come enjoy an extraordinary fine art festival at a beautiful bayside setting. Visit with the artists, discover the inspiration behind their creations and purchase original works of art. More than 100 artists will showcase paintings, glassworks, sculptures, jewelry and photography. Live entertainment and interactive art for children at Kidswalk. Hilton Bayfront Park, Sept. 18 & 19, 10am - 5pm. Free.
Sunday, Sep. 19 Pleasanton: 2010 Harvest Festival
Eat, drink and be entertained while you shop for one of a kind handmade arts & crafts. You’ll find unique products – from eye-catching jewelry, colorful glassware and ceramics, hand-woven and embellished clothing, photography, specialty foods, home décor and much more. Alameda County Fairgrounds, Sep. 17-19.
