The nation’s first LEGOLAND Hotel is set to open April 5, 2013 in Carlsbad, just steps from the main entrance of LEGOLAND California. The three-story, 250-room hotel delivers a true interactive family experience with over 3,400 LEGO models (some animated) throughout the hotel. Perhaps the grandest is a 400,000 brick dragon that breathes smoke as guests enter the hotel.

Rooms are themed after three popular LEGO toy lines - Pirate, Kingdom and Adventure - and accommodate up to five people. Each room includes two separate sleeping areas, with a queen-size bed for grown-ups and bunk beds and a pull-out bed for kids. In-room amenities include complimentary Wi-Fi, mini refrigerators, coffee makers and LEGO bricks for building your own masterpiece. At least eight LEGO models, such as monkeys, butterflies and owls, are displayed in each room. Little explorers can seek out clues within the guest room to unlock a secret treasure chest to revel a surprise. Premium themed rooms have additional Lego models and décor including themed wallpaper.

Not only are the guest rooms tricked out LEGOLAND style, but there are themed elevators and play areas. Dining options include a buffet restaurant and also a lounge. There’s a heated swimming pool, a fitness center and at night guests are entertained by costumed performers.  Hotel guests also receive exclusive early admission to select LEGOLAND rides and attractions.

LEGOLAND Hotel is located off Interstate 5, approximately 30 minutes north of San Diego and one hour south of Anaheim.
